This unit covers the application of pharmacological methods as would be used to solve a wide range of criminal investigations including drunken driving and homicide. The advanced pharmacology of common therapeutic agents, illegal drugs and poisons routinely encountered in forensic investigations will be covered along with detection methodologies and neutralization strategies.
