This unit develops the theoretical background necessary for planning productions of various types for the screen. Skills include research, concept development, budgeting, scheduling and documentation using industry models. Students will become familiar with various formats and genres of screen production and develop and understanding of the processes required to plan productions, deal with potential clients and to prepare the appropriate documents.
