This unit aims to develop students’ ability to be confident, articulate, focused and engaging speakers. It provides an introduction to the techniques and practices required for speaking in public. These are essential oral presentation skills which will contribute to employability in a wide range of disciplines. The unit includes vocal techniques, with critical feedback and appraisal, researching and evaluating relevant and useful information for presentation content, and working in teams.
