This unit introduces students to the fundamental concepts and skills required in pre-hospital paramedical practice, with the aim of developing the student to participate. To this end, as an effective member of an ambulance crew, the fundamental skills and knowledge required to initiate, continue or assist in the management of patients in a culturally diverse healthcare context will be covered in detail.
