This unit examines a health promoting school as a setting that is constantly strengthening its capacity to provide a healthy environment, healthy policy and practices, school health education, and health services along with community engagement and outreach. Health issues and needs of school age children are examined using a range of contemporary learning activities which provide students with workplace skills to support health and wellbeing in school settings.
