M82 Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Sector Management

The Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Sector Management is an exit pathway from the Master of Arts in Indigenous Sector Management.  Students who have completed the first 8 units (8 x 15 = 120 credit points) of the Masters may exit the course with the Graduate Diploma.  Students may subsequently seek to re-enrol to complete the Master of Arts in Indigenous Sector Management. (Students who wish to re-enrol should note that  they must first surrender the Graduate Diploma and that there is no guarantee that a place will be available.) 

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

An undergraduate degree OR equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professsional experience.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Sector Management consists of eight units of study (120 credit points): 4 core units (60 credit points) and 4 elective units (60 credit points).

 
IAS4102 Indigenous Peoples and the West 15
IAS4103 Political Economy of Indigenous Australia 15
Electives - 30 credit points at 4th year unit
 
ISM5101 Leadership in the Indigenous Sector 15
ISM5107 Indigenous Enterprise 15
Electives - 30 credit points at 5th year unit
Electives - 30 credit points at 5th year unit
 
Electives to be chosen from:
MBA5102 Management of Information V 15
MBA5103 Market Analysis V 15
MBA5105 Financial Reporting and Analysis V 15
MBA5110 Principles of Management V 15
MBA5119 Economics V 15
MBA5330 Principles of Human Resource Management V 15
MBA5340 Business Strategy V 15
 
Students may substitute other University Level 5 units with approval from the course coordinator.
