The Bachelor of Sport Management prepares competent graduates for careers in various sectors of the sport industry by providing a multidisciplinary program of study. It includes fieldwork experiences as components of units through which students can experience the application of theory to practice in Sport Management from community to professional sport. The major also enables students to acquire generic knowledge and skills necessary to meet the demands in job positions in sport industry: in community/ recreational sport, in state sport associations, events agencies, professional sport and other sport enterprise.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to the Bachelor of Sport Management degree at Joondalup is competitive. Meeting ECU minimum admission requirements does not guarantee enrolment.

To complete the degree students must undertake a supplementary program of ten (10) units of 15 credit points = 150 credit points. This program must be undertaken as either: A 10 unit supporting major; or an 8 unit major or supporting major and 2 electives; or a 6 unit minor and a 4 unit minor; or a 6 unit minor and 4 electives;or two 4 unit minors and 2 electives. |
