V69 Bachelor of Computer Technology (Computer Science) Honours | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
INTRODUCTION The Bachelor of Computer Technology Honours in Computer Science is a four year full-time program, the final year of which involves research oriented study. The fourth year is available to students who have successfully completed a Bachelor of Computer Technology, or equivalent, at this University, or a degree at another tertiary institution in a comparable area of study.
The Honours program in Computer Technology comprises three units of fourth year coursework and an honours research project. |

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS In order to be eligible for consideration for admission for honours, students shall normally have a minimum course average of 70 per cent. Applicants are required to have attained a high level of performance in the undergraduate award and in particular, in their Core units and at least one field of study at second and third year level. They should also have demonstrated aptitude for and commitment to independent research. |
