V75 Bachelor of Arts Honours | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Bachelor of Arts Honours is a one year course for students who have demonstrated strong academic ability in their Bachelor degrees, the final year of which involves research oriented study. It consists of coursework and the preparation of a thesis.
Honours candidates are accepted in the fields of: English, Geography, History, Language Studies (French and Japanese), Philosophy, Politics and Government, Religious Studies, Social Sciences, Sociology and Anthropology, and Writing.
All theses, except in French, Japanese and Writing, follow the ECU Guidelines, that is 15,000-20,000 words are required.
French or Japanese (10,000-15,000 words). The thesis should be written in the appropriate language. |

SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS A minimum course average of 70 per cent in a relevant bachelor degree. |
