V75 Bachelor of Arts Honours | ||
The Bachelor of Arts Honours is a one year course for students who have demonstrated strong academic ability in their Bachelor degrees, the final year of which involves research oriented study. It consists of coursework and the preparation of a thesis.
Honours candidates are accepted in the fields of: English, Geography, History, Language Studies (French and Japanese), Politics and Government, Religious Studies, Social Sciences, Sociology and Anthropology, and Writing.
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS A minimum course average of 70 per cent in a relevant bachelor degree.
All theses, except in Writing, follow the ECU Guidelines, that is 15,00-20,00 words.
NOTE: For Honours in French or Japanese the thesis should be writen in the appropriate language and should be 10,000-15,000 words in length.
