Graduate Certificate of Communications

 

INTRODUCTION

The Graduate Certificate of Communications is a one semester full-time or equivalent part-time course designed to provide graduates of other disciplines with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of a specialised field of communications.

 

COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY

The course is available by full-time or part-time study on Mount Lawley campus.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

An appropriate three year degree award from a recognised tertiary institution, or equivalent.


Photomedia

 

The Graduate Certificate of Communications (Photomedia) equips graduates to produce photographic images to professional standards in a range of lighting conditions, with a range of film types, in a range of styles.  Students also acquire critical skills and knowledge in the cultural uses of photographic images to ‘tell stories’ and ‘describe’ events, people and objects in a variety of contexts.
