The Bachelor of Creative Industries offers pathways in Communications and Culture or Visual Arts, which enable students to specialise in and across the creative and communicative arts.  Students enrolling in Communications and Culture will complete at least two fields of study chosen from Text and Performance, Writing and Media, Digital and Graphic Media, or Visual Arts.  Students enrolling in Visual Arts will specialise in Painting, Drawing and Print Media, and may choose to do a minor in one of the above fields of study.

The degree provides a foundation education that emphasises communication, cultural literacy, creative expression, research skills and problem solving.  The degree provides a background for students seeking employment in a range of industries such as cultural and community development, visual arts practice, electronic and print media, entertainment, education, human services, local government, state and federal public services or arts management.

In addition to meeting the standard admission requirements to undergraduate courses, students will be selected on the basis of an interview and presentation of a folio of recent art work.
