INTRODUCTION

Students studying to become secondary school music specialists may enrol in a four year preservice Bachelor of Education (Music Education). The first two years of this award are studied in the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and years three and four within the School of Education.

At present, this award is available only as a pass degree. Students may major in Classical Music.  In Classical Music, students select Instrumental/Composition Studies, Keyboard, or Vocal Studies.
