718 Graduate Certificate of Business (Professional Accounting)

INTRODUCTION

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Professional Accounting) has been designed to provide the opportunity for business/commerce graduates, who are required to complete four or less than four units to meet professional body requirements.  The units have been accredited by the Australian Society of CPAs and The Institute of Chartered Accountants as meeting the educational requirements for membership.  The course is only offered on a part-time basis, and normally takes one year to complete.  A course will be tailored to meet the individual requirements of the candidate.  The course is open to applicants who hold a degree in business/ commerce.

 

Students who are required to complete more than four units for professional body recognition are advised to apply for either the Graduate Diploma of Business (Professional Accounting) or the Master of Professional Accounting as appropriate for their requirements.

 

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Professional Accounting) course normally takes one year to complete.  The course is open to applicants who hold a degree in business or commerce.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Available to persons with a recognised undergraduate degree in business or commerce seeking conversion for CPA status.
