Y25 Bachelor of Science (Aviation)

The Bachelor of Science (Aviation) is a three year full-time (or part-time equivalent) program designed to provide a broad professional education and graduate status for those entering the general aviation industry. The course has been developed in close consultation with the aviation industry. Core units in aviation are taught by the School of Engineering and complemented by units from other Schools and Faculties to provide a broadly based program of study.

Students are able to choose an elective study area that complements their aviation studies and provides a breadth of knowledge to allow them to plan a career path in a range of areas within the aviation industry.  Such areas may include management, health and safety, human factors, environmental science, law, security, business, engineering or information technology.

The Bachelor of Science (Aviation) is offered through the School of Engineering on the Joondalup campus.  The course is available in full-time and part-time modes but part-time students will be required to attend day classes.

Students wishing to become pilots under the Fee-Help scheme are referred to the Bachelor of Aviation (BAvi) course and the Graduate Diploma in Flying course (GradDip(Flying)).
