The Bachelor of Science is designed to provide high quality studies in a wide range of science and technology disciplines. Students take four introductory science/maths units and can then select combinations of disciplines relevant to their interests and aspirations in a wide range of professions in science and technology, combinations not offered in other degrees. In addition, the course can be structured as a suitable entry degree for a range of postgraduate research degrees in maths and sciences or professional courses such as dietetics and occupational therapy. |

COURSE LOCATION This course is available on Mt Lawley, Joondalup, and Bunbury Campuses. Please note that Coastal Environmental Science and Surf Science are only offered on the Bunbury campus. Students may have to take units at Joondalup, Mt Lawley and/or Bunbury campuses. |

COURSE STRUCTURE The Bachelor of Science award consists of 360 credit points (24 units) comprising:
Four (4) core Science and Maths units plus two (2) eight unit science majors chosen from the list below (a total of 16 units) plus an approved combination of four (4) units from within the Faculty or anywhere in the University; or any combination of units as approved by the Executive Dean of the Faculty.
Restrictions on the selection of units are as follows:
Students planning on following this course with Honours or Masters should speak with their Course Coordinator to ensure they complete sufficient units in their chosen discipline. |
