This course focuses on the theoretical and practical dimensions of communication and includes six major streams of study comprising Advertising, Broadcasting, Creative Services, Journalism, Media, Culture and Mass Communications and Public Relations. The School offers students a caring, supportive environment with expert staff who are committed to quality teaching and research. The undergraduate program comprises 360 credit points (24 units) and normally requires three years of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) to complete. However, exemptions may be granted to students who have successfully studied in another program allowing for more rapid completion of the course. |

| ELECTIVE UNITS |
Students should select 60 credit points (four units) from the list of elective units recommended in the chosen area of specialisation. Any unit already completed as a Foundation core unit cannot be counted again as an elective.

Students must complete at least one Major program of 120 credit points (eight units) within the School of Communications and Arts. The remaining 120 credit points may come from another Major within or outside the School, or from a combination of minor and elective units.
