by Research The Master of Science (Computer Science) by research is a two-year full-time or equivalent part-time postgraduate course designed for students who wish to undertake significant research as part of their postgraduate degree. Such a research program can lead to either further postgraduate studies or a role as a project leader in innovative areas of computing. |

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS To be admitted to the Master of Science (Computer Science) by research students should have graduated with a ‘recognised degree’ including necessary prerequisite studies in computing. Details of admission requirements are specified below:

COURSE STRUCTURE The course has two stages: Stage 1 (3 elective coursework units and 3 core research thesis preparation/proposal units) and Stage 2 (in which students are required to complete a thesis by research). |
