Y39 Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management)

The Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management) introduces students to the multidisciplinary nature of Environmental Management. Environmental Management involves an understanding of the environment, and the knowledge and skills used in its management. The strong management focus of this course prepares graduates for careers in government agencies and industries which deal with conservation of biodiversity, environmental impact assessment, environmental planning and the management and rehabilitation of specific ecosystems such as wetlands, forests, coastlines and arid regions.

COURSE STRUCTURE

This course is a 26 unit degree (including 2 practicum units), with a total of 360 credit points.

 

The degree has three components:

 

1.  A core program of 17 units (compulsory).

2.  Two practicum units (compulsory)
