The Graduate Diploma in Criminology and Justice facilitates advanced independent learning and consolidates skills.  The Graduate Diploma is designed for professionals who have careers in law enforcement, compliance and justice, and is applied in focus. Students will acquire the skills to undertake quantitative and qualitative research, enabling them to conduct workplace projects, evaluate the implementation of new policies and programs, and understand the evidence base of existing and emerging policy and practice. In particular, the capacity to reflect on practice in the complex and demanding environments of criminology, justice, law enforcement and compliance is a significant underpinning principle of the course.

Advanced standing for units in a Graduate Certificate or an appropriate postgraduate qualification may be relevant on a case-by-case basis.

The Graduate Diploma in Criminology and Justice consists of 120 credit points (8 units) and normally requires one year of full-time study or the part-time equivalent.
