B44 Bachelor of Communications Honours | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bachelor of Communications Honours are offered in the following areas:
Honours degrees are four-year full-time programs, the final year of which involves research oriented study.
In order to be eligible for consideration for provisional admission to Honours, students should normally have a minimum course average of 70 per cent at the end of semester 1, year three, of the current study program. In special circumstances, it may be possible for students with lower averages to enter the Honours program. In these cases students should contact the postgraduate coordinator directly to discuss possible admission.
The Honours year consists of two elements:
(i) a series of three taught units which are common to all areas; (ii) a research project in the area of specialisation.
