S99 Graduate Certificate of Business (Innovation and Enterprise)

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Innovation and Enterprise) is designed for business practitioners who wish to acquire the skills and methodology necessary to develop ideas into reality. The emphasis of the course is the process where creative ideas are derived from the cognitive processes of individuals and groups, and brought to reality, for commercial and/or community benefit. The learning process includes a balanced mix of theoretical concepts and practical workshops. Graduates of this course may enrol in the 8-unit Graduate Diploma in Business (Marketing) by completing a further 4 units - and a final 4 units for the Master of Professional Marketing.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree OR equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The Graduate Certificate of Business (Innovation and Enterprise) comprises of 60 credit points (4 units).

 
Three core units (45 credit points):
CMM4117 Creative Thinking 15
MKT5711 Innovation and Entrepreneurship 15
MKT5715 Commercialisation 15
 
Plus one elective unit (15 credit points) as approved by the program coordinator.
