I57 Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) | ||
This cross-institutional Master of Nursing degree (by coursework) enables the student to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills as a component of their application to apply for endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Developed in conjunction with Flinders University, South Australia, part one of the program enables the student to enhance their individual knowledge and skills whilst working in their selected area of specialisation and then, through the second part of the program, to acquire the theoretical knowledge and skills required of a Nurse Practitioner in a specialist nurse or extended practice role.
To be eligible to apply for endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, graduates of this program must evidence the following requirements:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS A relevant bachelor degree or equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.
