I24 Master of Communications

The Master of Communications (by coursework) is a four semester full-time or equivalent part-time course designed to provide graduates in a different discipline with the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge and understanding of a specialised field of communications and to demonstrate their understanding and research ability with a thesis.
 
ACCREDITATION
One or more of these majors/Unit sets is externally recognised. Refer to the Major/Unit set description for details
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

There are two admission paths to the degree:

  1. A three year degree in a different discipline from a recognised tertiary institution;
  2. Applicants without formal academic qualifications with at least five years appropriate professional experience may apply for admission.

 

NOTE: Students who are unable to complete the requirements of this course may have the option to exit:

 

1. after one semester of study with a Graduate Certificate in their chosen specialisation; or

 

2. after two semesters of study with a Graduate Diploma in their chosen specialisation.
