The double degree course has been developed in response to a demand for graduates with a combination of skills and knowledge in both science and business. Graduates of this double degree will contribute to the development and marketing of products and services which utilise and extend Australia's strong scientific and technological expertise. The double degree will allow scientifically able students to undertake four years of concurrent study in science and business across a wide range of disciplines.

SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS In addition to standard admission requirements, students must have achieved a pass in one TEE Science subject and one TEE Mathematics subject or equivalent studies. Equivalent studies include bridging units in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. |

COURSE STRUCTURE The double degree consists of 480 credit points (32 units) studied over four years full-time or equivalent part-time study. The degree comprises:
120 credit points(8 unit Science major)
Plus
120 credit points(8 unit approved supplementary set of Science units)
Plus
60 credit points(4 Business Edge Studies units): BES1100 Foundations of Business Knowledge BES1200 Business Knowledge Development BES2100 Foundations of Business Leadership BES3100 Business Career Development (to be completed in final semester)
Plus 75 credit points(5 core Bachelor of Business units) chosen from ACC1100 Accounting 1 ECF1110 Economics 1 ECF1120 Finance 1 LAW1100 Legal Framework 1 MAN1100 Management 1 MIS1600 e-Business Systems MKT1600 Marketing Principles and Practices
Plus 105 credit points(7 unit Business major).
Students should choose one major from the following list in collaboration with the course coordinator.
