The Master of Criminology and Justice is designed to offer guided study to help generate new knowledge and understandings of how to manage complex social issues related to policing, justice and security. Issues from simple law enforcement to complex social management are explored. This course supports the student in preparing a 10,000 word paper that shows competence in research and writing. The paper will demonstrate theoretical coherence, appropriate use of a research method, ethical understandings of conduct and data collection, correct analysis of data, appropriate conclusions and its relevance to justice, criminology, compliance or law enforcement. Learning will be independent and supervision will be in group and individual settings. |
