A81 Certificate IV in Aboriginal Theatre | |
This course enables students who are keen to enter the entertainment industry from an Aboriginal cultural perspective to build skills in one or more of the areas of singing, dancing and acting. The course aims specifically to facilitate the study of theatre from an Aboriginal cultural perspective, assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in gaining admission into mainstream theatre and music theatre training programs in Australia. It enhances the student’s ability to audition for and perform roles in theatre, music theatre, television and film.
This VET Course is offered by ECU as a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework and is accredited through the Training Accreditation Council. |

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Applicants apply direct to WAAPA. Admission is based on audition and interview (no acting or performance experience is required). |
