This course adopts a contemporary international approach to criminology and justice education. It seeks to develop educated practitioners. Therefore, graduates will possess a significant background in contemporary theory and research that informs criminology and justice professions. They will also possess the skills that are required for entry level positions in criminology and justice professions. This dual approach will prepare graduates for positions of future leadership. This course also facilitates an understanding of how to help at risk young people facilitate their own social, personal and cultural development. Graduates will possess a significant background in theory and research that informs our understanding of young people. They will also possess well developed professional skills that are acquired in a field setting. Each body of knowledge and associated professional skills will prepare graduates for a diverse range of professions.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Standard University Admission requirements apply but do not guarantee admission to the Bachelor of Criminology and Juvenile Justice as the course is very competitive.
