The Advanced Diploma of Performing Art (Acting) is taught in a collegiate atmosphere along the lines of professional theatre practice. This unit is about working together; in practical classes and exercises it introduces the roles and working methods of various artistic, technical and management personnel normally involved in the creation of theatre. The unit also includes a limited number of closed studio performances when voice, movement and acting skills are transferred from classroom to stage. In this unit the student discovers basic skills and attitudes needed to be a professional actor. | |||
