CHN3121 Children at Risk

Description:
This unit examines the population of children between birth and fourteen years who are categorised as ‘at risk’. It examines ideologies and values pertaining to the creation of risk factors and their impact on the definition of risk. An ecological approach is taken, examining cultural, community and familial impact on risk factors. Services for children and families are also discussed.
