MNH3010 Ethico-Legal Issues in Mental Health

Description:

This unit is designed to introduce students to the Australian legal system including, the relationship between statutes, regulations and instructions. Students will gain an understanding of how criminal and civil law impact on the delivery of services to the mentally ill in Western Australia.  Students will gain an understanding of their legal and ethical responsibilities in delivering services to person with a severe mental illness.
