Description:

This unit will examine the nature and scope of Music, Physical and Health Education in the development of children aged 4-8 years. Major topics to be studied include musical concepts, listening skills, vocal skills, fundamental movement skills, physical play environments, lesson planning, teaching skills and strategies, classroom organization, assessment, cross-curricula integration, health promotion and in introduction to the Arts, and Health and Physical Education Learning Areas.
