SPAAMO  Digital Recordkeeping and Security Studies Area of Specialisation

This Area of Specialisation aims to equip graduates with specialist knowledge and program management skills in digital recordkeeping and security science.  Career destinations include digital content industries, digital collections and enterprise information management.  The program provides a Masters by Coursework pathway for information management professionals seeking to access emerging career opportunities in digital recordkeeping.

 

Students need to complete 180 credit points (11 units). Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate of Information Services (Digital Records), the Graduate Diploma of Science (Information Services), (Archives and Records) OR Graduate Diploma of Science (Information Services), (Digital Recordkeeping and Security Studies) may apply for admission and advanced standing to this area of specialisation.

 

Part-time students should enrol in either IST4121 or IST4163 in their first semester of study.
