GEO4111 Human Geography: Diverse Worlds

Description:

Human geography offers insights into the diversity of changes happening around us.  This unit allows for description and interpretation of places, societies and landscapes created during the interaction between humans and their environments.  Students will examine the ways in which humans have conceptualised the nature and meanings of their environments and the meaning of “thinking geographically”.  The unit covers a wide range of topics and explores past and present cultural landscapes.
