This unit requires the student to undertake a minimum ten weeks of full-time, supervised clinical dietetics work. Of the ten weeks, a minimum of four weeks full-time work must be in a large hospital setting. The remaining weeks can be in a hospital, private practice, private clinic or other non-public health setting where clinical dietetics practice occurs. Supervisory and assessment requirements, as defined by the Dietetics Standards and Accreditation Advisory Committee (DSAAC), must apply. Full Unit Outline | |||
