The Major in Children and Family Studies is a specialised Major which adopts the frameworks of human rights and social inclusion. It equips students with knowledge and skills of working with children, families and communities as practitioners, policy makers and managers in a variety of fields. These fields include children services, family support, parent education and policy and service development.  This Major includes a practical placement component and is designed to allow students to combine it with a minor in their area of interest. This major is also offered as part of a double major with psychology.
