Provides an understanding of the two broad areas of Economics (Macro and Micro) as well as equipping students with employability skills such as leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, communication and problem solving, which are much sought after by employers.

Knowledge of economics is vital in a business career. Economists find employment in every sphere of commercial activity both in the public and private sector, for example, in financial services, public administration and resources.

Economics can be a great accompaniment to a second major in Accounting, Finance or Marketing.
