MIS5701 Information Systems Strategies

Description:

This unit aims to examine how Information Systems (IS) can shape and define business strategy and redefine markets. IS enabled business strategies of outsourcing, business process change and networked organisations are examined. Strategic information system planning and management methods in support of the strategic use of IS are also explored.  The major IS strategies of today are examined and there impact on organisations assesed.
