Description:

This unit introduces students to the employability skills essential for university and career success, including communicating effectively, working effectively with others, social intelligences and task management. Issues examined relate to individual learning styles, cross-cultural and business communications, critical thinking and ethical behaviour. Students will be introduced to the concepts of self-reflection, meta-cognition, self-critique and peer assessment. The learning environment integrates theory with practical activities where students will further develop skills in self-advocacy, personal organisation and information management.
