Description:
This unit focuses on client services to meet client information needs. Students will learn how to analyse information needs and how to plan, design and implement appropriate information resources and services. Techniques for client analysis and information needs analysis that draw upon aspects of communication, education and cognitive theory are explored, along with their application in the delivery of client support services. Unit includes a two week practicum in an information agency.
