This unit provides students with the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with their peers as they acquire basic knowledge in the use of computer technology in Japanese. Students will be required to read a variety of authentic texts on Japanese websites with the aid of online tools to develop language proficiency. A highlight of this unit is the use of technology tools and social media sites to communicate with native speakers in Japan. This is to improve skills in spontaneous writing and reading comprehension required for the online environment. This unit will help prepare students for later units where they will be required to produce assignments using Japanese language ICT. Full Unit Outline | |||
