The Practice Transition Major is a focused learning pathway for students who want to build upon current practice and experience or to transition to the next phase of their careers. It provides the opportunity to either research in more depth a current discipline or to explore other areas of practice as a means of transitioning to a new or related field of practice. Students are given recognition of prior learning of up to 180 credit points against the Special Skills units, the Minor and/or the elective program in recognition of the technical and skill level already acquired through an accredited Advanced Diploma in the performing arts. This major enables students to reflect, gain more coherent knowledge relating to their profession and to self direct the next phase of their career development.
