Management of Information Technology Major

Y70 BACHELOR OF ARTS BACHELOR OF BUSINESS 
 

Focuses on the management of business information systems and their supporting technologies. The role of information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) in mainstream business disciplines is explored from a business/managerial perspective.
This major provides a solid IT foundation for prospective Business Analysts and well-managed instruction in systems development. It has been developed with the needs of employers in mind, providing students with the theory, practical experience and transferable employability skills, including leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, communication and problem solving, needed for a successful career.
It can be a great accompaniment to a second major in Management, Accounting or Marketing, as well as complimenting Computer Science with business, legal and managerial perspectives.

 

The Management of Information Technology Major consists of 120 credit points (8 units).
