SPAAOE  Critical Care Nursing - Cardiac Area of Specialisation

The Cardiac Nursing unit set is designed to support Registered Nurses who are employed within the cardiac nursing specialty. The specialty has grown further than the current "critical care - cardiothoracic / coronary care" unit set to include such environments as cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac catheterisation. Registered Nurses may elect to enter the Master of Clinical Nursing (I52) with this unit set, exit at the Graduate Certificate of Clinical Nursing (S75), the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nursing (S76) or the Master of Clinical Nursing (I52).

The student may exit with Graduate Certificate of Clinical Nursing
 
NSP5302 is a year long clinical practice unit.

The student may exit with Graduate Diploma of Clinical Nursing

MHP5101 Master Health Project 20

MHP5101 must be completed prior to MHP5202. Therefore students progressing to Master award should enrol in MHP5101 in semester one, and undertake NST5148 in semester two.
