The Physical Education minor is designed for students wishing to teach in Years 7-10. The Physical Education Minor is designed to offer education students specialised skills and knowledge in physical education teaching. Through lectures and practical sessions, students will study two curriculum units, a number of sports, physical activity and chronic disease and have the option of introductions to either health or outdoor education. The methods for effectively teaching this content and the issues and challenges facing Physical Education in schools will be taught in two key curriculum studies units. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
