Description:

This unit examines the evidence base which supports the comprehensive management of chronic disease including preventive, lifestyle-related, pharmacological and organisational approaches. The application of knowledge and principles of evidence-based practice and critical appraisal skills in establishing sustainable clinical practice routines is emphasised.
