Description:

In this unit students will develop instrumental and vocal skills through ensemble rehearsals and public performances. Students will demonstrate improved skills in sight-reading and ensemble playing. Each student will also negotiate an individual programme of study that extends the depth and breadth of their studies through projects and extension studies.The importance of physical, social and cultural sustainability relating to artform practice and professional career paths is also embraced in this unit through: the choice of repertoire; customer service and duty of care in public performance environments; engagement with industry partners; building social and cultural confidence via exposure to diverse performance environments locally, nationally, regionally and internationally.
