Description:

This unit reflects the scholarly and research interests of individual staff. It may focus for example on thematic issues such as ethnicity and identity, race and racism, visual anthropology, on methodological issues such as anthropological fieldwork methods and/or the application of anthropological theory to research, or fields such as the anthropology of childhood, social and economic development, the Mediterranean, the Pacific Islands, SE Asia or Middle East. Specific areas offered will vary in successive years according to the experience of staff involved.
