Description:

This unit provides an overview of the international resort sector.  Resorts are synonymous with high levels of service and exclusive facilities.  They represent an important and growing sector within the international tourism industry.  In addition there is a new 21st century trend towards the development of all inclusive, fully integrated resorts like those recently constructed in Singapore and Macau.  This unit introduces relevant theory and encourages students to build knowledge and skills that will contribute to their employability in the resort sector.
