Description:

This unit is designed for the music education student to further develop the fundamental techniques of music theory, harmony, composition, arranging, aural and improvisation. Commonalities and specialities of a variety of different musical conventions will be examined.     

Piano skills will be developed to support and apply the underpinning theoretical constructs. This unit develops theoretical techniques that will underpin the delivery of all classroom music teaching.
